Great bit of kit light weight and small to transport anywhere with your exoskeleton to charge without the batteries attached to your exoskeleton
I was wounded back in 2012 with a through and through shrapnel wound to lower left leg. Since then I’ve had 7 surgeries culminating with a full left hip replacement at 30. My legs still work but I get sore quickly and going up stairs really aches at the end of the day.
Hypershell X Ultra has been an amazing relief to traverse stairs, get chores done around the house, and keep up with my young kids, without being in as much pain. Although I’ve only used Hypershell for domestic work, I look forward to taking it on the trails and whatever other activities my kids want me to explore with them.
Better than I expected in a variety of hiking scenarios from rolling terrain to scrambling up 100% scree slopes.
I found the Hypershell to be high-quality and well-made. I can understand the implications of selling them as disability aids, but for someone like myself, who suffers from legs that weaken from walking, they are game changers.
I was looking for assistance with walking/getting around. I have Muscular Dystrophy but I'm still mobile. I think this tool will be super useful for a person with my abilities, so far it has been super useful.
I have problem with my disc 5 and S1 and I can only walk 20 feet . But with hypeshell I can walk way more but it does moves my leg forward and helps relieve pain in the hip. Highly recommended
Hello Hypershell, I am still evaluating, but as I can already see it is a very useful device. I suffer from a chronic body weakness and the device helps. I still have to work out how to use it best in situations with slow body movements but my overall judgmement will certainly give You two thumps up!
I have MD and this is my new best friend. I have MD and this is my hope to keep moving outside and have the ability to hike and walk with a feeling of freedom I thank you !
The Hypershell is perfect on flat terrain or uphill, whether in automatic terrain detection mode or when selecting a specific mode.
However, as soon as there is even a slight downhill section, even a very short one, the assistance stops and it feels like being braked.
At first, in “Gravel Road” mode, I had assistance on downhill sections, but after a firmware update, this assistance disappeared. Thank you for your feedback.
My initial impression is "WOW!" I am a disabled Veteran with lower back, hip, and knee issues and the exoskeleton enables me to walk like a healthy individual. I know it isn't designed to be a health or medical device, but it is restoring my ability to enjoy life as it should be. I will be taking it with me on an overseas trip that will involve a lot of walking, which I doubted I would be able to do in my current disabled state, but the X Pro is going to make it completely possible, based on the results of my first evaluation of the product. I look forward to further experiments and evaluations of my Hypershell X Pro.
Much more convenient. Especially while travelling when charging time is an issue.
I’m a 100% DV. I have to fend for myself due to the lack of care I receive. This has been a miracle and thank you so much. I’m able to go for brisk walks with my Fiancé. I have an Ebike and I’m not afraid of the battery running out thanks to this product.
It is doing what I want it to do. It is comfortable. However, the metal clip slips out of the connecting loop strapping. And, the adjustment is a little "fiddly". I.e. complicated and insecure. Overall: Excellent idea but needs attention.
Fabuloso y sin complicaciones
I have the Hypershell Pro x-version and, after two weeks of use, I'm very happy with it. The device seems to be of good quality, and the app is very user-friendly. I have PPMS (a form of Multiple Sclerosis), which causes me to tire quickly and has little strength in my left leg. Thanks to this device, I can now walk several kilometers again without the significant fatigue I used to feel while walking. Before this device, I could only walk a few hundred meters. I'm still exploring the many possible settings in the app, but for me, this is undoubtedly a great invention. Hopefully, future models will be even less visible and more suitable for sitting, as those are the only minor drawbacks for me. A big thank you to Hypershell for this fantastic device!
Need to pay more attention to user friendly functionality
Wonderful product with a lot of love to detail and product quality. Works as intended and supports in finely adjustable steps.
When the product was not suitable for the intended user (major muscle injury to lower thigh with scar tissue), I have experienced outstanding after sales customer service for the return and refund!
Great product with a great team!
I have progressive MS. I chose the ultra for the newest AI upgrade plus the battery life for extended use in hyper mode, need all the support I can get. Works extremely well with pausing and restarting of walking movement. Uphill the assist is clearly evident, downhill not so sure of the benefits yet.
Didn't even work myself or my Dad’s . Just expensive useless idea. But the problem is returning process . It is totally scam, first you have to pay for your own return shipping , and the process of verification takes couple weeks(at least ) . I am not sure how they claim they are AI company while verification of parts arrival takes few weeks !!!!! Scam scam scam , stay a way . I am filing complaint with BBB
I saw this at the CES show and tried it. Really help me walk easier and ip and down dart. A person with sciatica I could not wal much without my leg hurting.
Did try 4 other companies at the CES show, but nothing compared to the Hypershell.
Thanks to Toby Knisley and the team!
