I have always been very active all my life but age has cought up.
I know this is not advertised as a medical product so these are just my experience with it. I got to the stage I did not walk much because of vertigo and other medical issues. I like walking through the Australian bush.
I thought I would give this a go, to start with it was a bit odd and I found it was puting a bit of a strain on my lower back, I countered that issues by using a back brake belt ( kidney belt ) it made the unit very comfortable. With perseverance I use it every morning for a 4 to 6 kilometres walk I use a staff for extra support but it is a great bit of kit for me. No regrets buying at all 5 star. John Chadler

For my entire life I have been active in the outdoors, hiking and hunting in the western states. With old age and health issues, my ability to hike through the mountains has diminished significantly. With the Hypershell exoskeleton, I can now walk better with less effort than I have been able to do for the past 20 years.

Tis gear works and provides the addedboost needed on long hikes

I would just like to see them make it so it could fit bigger people. The waist belt is fairly small. Also it did get very hot on the controller side when I was using it on hyper mode for 30 min. It burn the skin. But it works really well and is a great assist with my mobility issues.

I have CMT and foot drop and have not been able to run for 2 years. Hoping this would help but it did not work when running. Walking it worked but not running. I will work with you to make a different model for running…

This product is interesting. It actually do help you with move around.
However, I found out 2 major issues:
1. the smart movement detaction is not ideal. sometime you feels it's the exoskeleton drag you to move your leg other than it's suppring you.
2. Tried this one with 50%-75% output eco mode go some easy walk. a battery can live for only 7km which is way lower than expected.

I was having problems walking and it helped me correct my gait. But after walking 20 minutes or so it seems as if the hypershell starts to slide down my waist like my pants are falling down. When I put it on the waist belt is tight. Today I'm going to try and tighten the waist belt a tad more. I've also tighten the sliding arms. I'm 6 foot and 155 lbs.

My brothers purchased this for me for my birthday due to a spinal cord injury I had 11/24. They wanted to give me any opportunity they could to help me on my journey to learn to walk & strengthen my right leg. I have a c4-c-5 incomplete injury, with PT and including the Exo into my therapy plan has greatly increased my ability to pick up that right leg. My physiatrist was very encouraged and made the comment, it’s people like you that look for things to help them not knowing it will work but at least trying, now we need to get insurance to cover these types of devices. My PT tech says she definitely can tell a difference thank you Hyper shell!

Recently, I began a Rehab PT program for an upcoming surgery. The hypershell should be a complementary adjunct in my recovery! I look forward to giving the hypershell a very good test workout upon recovery of the aforementioned.

For this old, fat boy, the hypershell let me run a mile an hour faster with same heart rate. Able to maintain pace longer without tiring! Did not climb any mountains except on treadmill, but made those incline runs seem flat. I old like an option for suspenders, but they ride well.

The waste support belt needs to go all the way around. Other than that its a solid piece of tech.

I am 194 cm tall, and find it hard to get a proper fit. The leg braces could have a bit more adjustment to suit taller people.
Need to turn 100% Hyper mode on to get any assistance, which is minimal.

Tried very few times. Does seem to assist walking and reduce the need for muscle exertion. Need to test more, and running. Maybe then *5 star. Pleased so far. Very reasonable price and quality product.

Fine tech ! I hope there will be settings and AI modes for disables people like me, or an open mode where we could adjust assistance for specific needs. For example I would like the Hypershell to push my pelvis while standing because for now the motors are off if not walking

Whilst it’s not a designated medical device, my Hypershell has made my life so much easier! Going for a walk and cycling are now possible again after MS had robbed me of any thought of doing them again.
Walking up stairs is a breeze. My foot drop is much less noticeable too.
It’d be great if the device could be configured to help rowing too.
The fitness setting is great too to help strengthen my hip flexion.
As a physiotherapist I would highly recommend patients try Hypershell!

My daughter suffered a Brain injury and double stroke 6 years ago. This device offered her support in lifting her legs and giving her more endurance. We have tried a lot of equipment and honestly we love this!! And the plus is that it is affordable. I’m thinking of using it myself to help me hike!! Congratulations on creating a product that does what it says it does and is affordable!!

J’ai commencé à utiliser hypershell et j’en suis très satisfait. Je l’utilise car j’ai un problème à la moelle épinière qui m’empêche de marcher normalement car mes jambes s’engourdissent rapidement. J’ai réussi à visiter le mont saint Michel sans aucun problème et marcher en forêt plus de 2 h00. Je dois encore voir si je peux me relever lorsque je me baisse au sol car actuellement je ne réussi à le faire qu’avec une aide.Hypershell est une aide précieuse pour moi et n’est absolument pas gênant.

The waist harness could have better padding to increase comfort for the wearer.

It feels weird in a positive way, the first time you feel like "floaty" when walking. The straps arent super comfy, and going uphill in snowy/icy terrain was not the best. I need to test more during summer, it is a cool device, I like when companies do weird stuff like this. The software also can improve the whole a lot
