I’m a 64-year-old rock climber and have been using the Hypershell X for hiking into remote climbing areas. I absolutely love it — it makes long, steep approaches so much easier and more comfortable.
I’m now on the hunt for a backpack that fits well with the Hypershell. My current 75 L pack sits too low and interferes with the hip frame. I’m thinking about something smaller (50–60 L) or a pack with a high-riding suspension or removable hip belt.
I have PLS. Currently it primarily affects my left leg making walking difficult. After discussing with my physical therapist, I decided to try Hypershell. While it's difficult to wear sitting down and can't wear it driving it definitely helps for walking and increases my endurance. Iam aware it was not developed for this application but it positively impacts my quality of life.
Thank you for sharing your invention with me. I imagined I would cry with happiness if hypershell delivered 1/10 of the advertisement. But I could not cry. I smiled and laughed all day wearing Hypershell. I am still on my feet from all day walking and running and I feel great! Thank you again for your invention.
I got the Hypershell X Pro for my mom and it’s honestly been life-changing. Her doctor even checked and approved it, so we felt safe letting her use it. It gives her the support to practice moving again and helps strengthen muscles she hadn’t used in a long time. The design is solid, easy to use, and really comfortable.
If you’re looking for something to help a loved one with mobility or rehab, I can highly recommend the X Pro. We’re already seeing the difference and couldn’t be happier.

sorry not in english.
Maybe Next will try carbon.
It's been a month since I bought the Hypershell Pro X and it has changed my life. I was diagnosed with F.N.D:- Functional Neurological Disorder 2 years ago leaving my left side weaker and less movement in my left leg, your product (Hypershell Pro X) has helped me walk better with my Upright Walker because it take the drain and effort out of walking and leaving me less fatigued, what i really love about the Hypershell Pro x is that you can change the setting to help your needs, because it have set it to help my left leg more than my right.
I know it is not designed as a medical aid and I recommended talk to your doctor before you buy because I don,t know if it would help someone with spinal problems, why the Hypershell Pro X is helping me is because I have Neurological problems, my brain is not sending the right signals to my left side property.
I know I am not really the target market, but I wanted to try this to see if it would be helpful when hiking with MS. There is a little learning curve, but it is very adaptive and seems to learn your gait. I think it is really amazing and increases my pace and distance. I’m really glad I bought it. The only small suggestion would be to make the case a little roomier so it is easier to pack.
Love the hypershell! It has given me confidence to do more and made walking enjoyable again 💗
I was in accident a transitvan drove over top of me busting my pelvis badly so i
I am still getting used to it. My round body and waist cant stop the belt from slipping down and up. Would need a buckle that makes tightening easier and stronger. Seems nice just need more time.
Always helpful, prompt and with follow through
I saw something like this on kickstarter and started to fund it, after that this unit came up on Facebook so I purchased this one. so far all has been positive. I am 74 and hike every week. I had a fall father's day which caused a hospital stay and hiking has been difficult during the rehab. We just did a hike we did last year just a 4 mile hike but the climb out for me was a killer last year felt I wish somebody would pick me up in car. this year trying to get my strength back I went from power level 1 to 2 and walked up the hill as if it flat. At first I was expecting more felt it was not doing much to help, But when I did the same hike as last year which was very hard when in good shape a normal back then was 7 to 12 miles now in a weaker state just walked up the hill. The ads make you think it will be something magical so when you first put it on you expect to feel more, it was not until this weekend that I really knew the difference. At 74 with a hilly environment 29 min. mile was normal for me, today 20 min mile on a tuff hill. My only complaint was a lack of a charger in the package, fist couple of times charging the battery it was 12 hours, found a good charger for a computer and charge times dropped to maybe 2 hours don't know exactly just looked over and it was charged. purchased a extra battery and a charging strip for all the batteries, worry about being in a tuff area for the weekend and having a dead battery. Up hill has always been hard for me now so much easier. We walk thru rivers a lot and with the motors so high up I would not feel uncomfortable walking into the water with this unit the one I first saw the motors were lower down so walking in knee deep water would be out of the question. II will treat this with the same respect with water as my $7,000.00 camera. The pants you were makes a difference just a little bit my water pant which is a nylon like material allows for a up and down movement of the knee brace ifnot tight enough but not a game killer just need to pull it tighter but with a cotton pant never have that problem. I spent a week in the ICU in the hospital after my fall, came out weak on left side and would get dizzy easy, With this I am back out hiking again. I don't know how much this has helped me but now without it on a walk my balance and legs feel more equal in strength. I am glad I found this it sure helped with my recovery.
Seeing improvement in ability to walk
Absolutely fantastic. I know it is not a medical device. However, I have CMML which is a chronic form of leukemia (I am doing very well at this time). This does leave me with below normal hemoglobin levels which means, low energy. Before this started I was a nationally ranked fencer in my age group, consistently in the top 8 in my age group. Was needing a walking stick to get around and 1 flight of stairs would leave my legs weak. This led to other issues related to not getting enough exercise. My Hypershell lets me go up 3 flights and still feel good at the top. Also, no stick necessary as it aids in stability. So I can go out and get movement and exercise. Great device!
Great product, well built and easy to use. Yet to try out all features but is already impressed by its performance.
Admittedly, I haven't explored all the features this product offers. However, I've been using the basic functions and have been extremely pleased with the product. Even though it is not marketed as a medical device, I use it mainly to me raise my legs that have been weakened due to a neurological disorder. I can feel what it was like once again before the condition atrophied my muscle. I am an engineer and I am thoroughly impressed of how robust the software and hardware had come together!
It works fine, but the controls on the hip are a bit tricky at the beginning albeit quite logical . It would be good if you could set it up just once for daily use --and then change as needed on individual occasions. This would save the hassle of setting it up every single day, especially for seniors who are in a routine.
I just did the west highland way with your product . frankly it saved my knees, as each day was 18-24 km. / day
I carried 1 spare battery
On the first day i was required to change our batteries at about 16 km.
On day 5 the battery managed 24 km of walking and still had reserve.
So I was happy.
A few observations
Having same button to doall adjustments can be a little frustrating
Especially as sensitive to sequence timing
Often i found it changing between modes as i tried to power up or down
I would have preferred a separate button on the opposite side for modes , and power on /off . And keep the button on right side for power up and down levels
The eeight on hips for a long walk was noticeable .
Especially at the end of walk.
We discussed how you could possiblly integrate into back pack frame. Or at least move battery weight into a pack. Anything to reduce weight at back of the hyper-shell frame and on the hips direct.
But otherwise i was very impressed with the product.
Absolutely love it!! I have been using it to work out and give me an edge on hiking trails. I feel like it will only get better as I have the freedom to walk, hike and even run with an extra set of legs. I know its not a medical device but I have nerve damage in my left foot and this has helped me keep the motion in my steps to keep me working out. I feel very comfortable and in control again. Greatest feeling ever and definitely a game changer. The future is here
