Hypershell Halo is a pre-order item, with estimated shipping starting late November. Live timelines are always available on the purchase page, and we’ll email you directly if anything changes.
Hypershell Halo is an all-terrain, all-posture powered exoskeleton with integrated hip and knee assistance. Four motors support the full lower-body movement chain for propulsion, support, and impact cushioning.
The Origin Edition is limited to the first 200 units, featuring an exclusive wordmark, individual serial number (001-200), exclusively offering one extra PocketVolt battery, and an exclusive 1-year extended warranty.
Halo assists both the hip and knee, so it can support the swing phase and the weight-bearing phase of a step. It also supports same-direction movements of both legs, such as squats and sit-to-stand, while X is a lighter hip-only solution focused mainly on endurance for medium- and light-duty outdoor use.
The integrated structure dynamically aligns with the body and creates a continuous force path from the hip through the thigh and knee to the lower leg. Unified control lets the system understand whole-leg intent and coordinate all four motors in real time.
Halo is designed for flat-ground walking, uphill and downhill travel, stairs, squats, sit-to-stand, jumps, long strides, gravel, sand, snow, and load-carrying movement. Assistance does not remove terrain risk; actual performance depends on fit, settings, terrain, load, battery level, and the user's own control.
Terrain changes do not normally require a dedicated manual terrain switch. Halo continuously runs HyperIntuition 2.0 and adjusts assistance from real-time lower-body movement and posture. You can still select Eco, Hyper, Fitness, or Transparent mode and adjust the assistance level manually.
A 72 Wh PocketVolt Battery provides a rated range of up to 20 km. Actual range varies with the assistance mode and level, user weight, speed, slope, temperature, load, battery condition, and fit.
Yes. The 72 Wh PocketVolt Battery weighs 370 g and is detachable, replaceable, and independently rechargeable. It can be clipped at the waist or carried in a pocket or backpack, and it displays the remaining charge and current assistance level.
Halo is a consumer assistive exoskeleton, not a medical or rehabilitation device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or support recovery from an injury. If you have an injury, surgery history, persistent pain, numbness, or instability, consult a qualified healthcare professional before considering ordinary consumer use.
For a standard fit, all three measurements should be within these ranges: hip width 310–410 mm, hip-to-knee length 380–480 mm, and waist circumference 640–1,400 mm. Height 165–195 cm and BMI 16–32 can be used for quick screening, but correct joint alignment and a stable, comfortable trial fit are still required.
